HISTORY
HH Smith, Inc. was founded in 1946. In 1968 North American Philips Company purchased HH Smith. In 1982 HH Smith was moved from its original home in Brooklyn, NY to Manaquan, NJ. In approximately 1986 Phillips put HH Smith under its subsidiary, Dialight, along with Kulka , and for a short time, HH Smith was known as Kulka Smith.

Then in 1988, Ntt Inc., owned by Delany Capital Management, purchased HH Smith and moved the company in 1989 to Meadville, PA. Between 1989 and 1997, Delany Capital Management merged Ntt Inc., Wallable, Mextron and HH Smith all under the name Ntt, then HH Smith.

In December 2001, Abbatron LLC, (founded in 2001,) purchased the assets of HH Smith, including the right to do business as HH Smith and all proprietary drawings.
